David Jourquin is all about leather. Leather in its finest form...
One of his earliest memories is that of his mother applying a perfume before she went to work in the morning, putting on her leather coat and saying goodbye to him with a kiss.
He then spent the day with his grandmother. Everything had to be neat and tidy at her place. The floors smelled of floor wax and she sprayed Eau de Cologne on the cushions of her couch.
His father smoked cigars and sometimes took him to the markets of Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), where he discovered the fragrant world of spices.
Finally, several trips with his stepfather took him to Morocco, where he experienced new olfactory worlds.
All these experiences and memories finally came together like a mosaic and led to a point, where fragrances were making sense to David and where they were becoming a source of reliability.
And because these fragrances were so close and so important, it was out of question for him to be satisfied with the fragrance creations of others. He had his very own fragrance line created using the finest raw materials.
The Eaux de Parfum of the Vendôme collection are dressed in a hand-sewn leather coat and are crowned by a cap made of real walnut wood.
