Filippo Sorcinelli is an exceptional Italian artist - he is a painter, musician, photographer, creative director, graphic designer.
Filippo was born in Mondolfo (Central Italy) in 1975. He graduated M.A. in Fano, studied music in Pesaro and finally specialized in sacred music at the "Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra" in Rome.
At the age of 13 he was already engaged as a church organist in various cathedrals, he also organized music festivals and participated in many art exhibitions and installations in Italy and abroad.
In 2001 he opened his atelier LAVS (laus = 'praise song' in Latin), which specializes in the production of artistic paraments. The atelier gained fame mainly because it made the vestments of the last two popes Benedict XVI and Francis. It was here that the idea for Filippo's first fragrance line UNUM was born - the fragrance called "LAVS" is said to be used to scent the vestments before they were sent to the Vatican.
UNUM is about spirit - not just spirituality.
From the awareness that spirit overcomes all boundaries and yet is entangled with our cultures and the flow of life.
UNUM encourages us to talk about this part of ourselves that we all carry within us and celebrates what we cannot touch with our hands.

The fragrances of this collection are named after organ stops. They are sensual, original fragrances with a strong personality. The ivory cap is a lifelike replica of the organ stops of the great organ of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
NEBBIA is a collection of three fragrances that address the atmospheric phenomenon of fog.
Since Filippo is also a photographer, this natural phenomenon has always fascinated him. Join him on the fine line between life and limit.
The fragrances, scented candles and room scents by Filippo Sorcinelli are available at your Perfume Art Shop Holger Dubben - specialist shop for extraordinary fragrances and exclusive cosmetics - in Cologne.
Our highlight: "Rosa_Nigra" - a rose scent that does not contain any rose oil. Fascinating!
