Founder Silvana Casoli, a natural scientist and aromatherapist, launched the brand in 2003 in her Italian hometown. Prior she had worked for various Italian fragrance and skin care brands and thus gained a good insight into the market.
Due to her aromatherapeutic background Silvana uses only natural ingredients in her fragrances.
In addition, she has developed a new technology called "Osmo", which she uses in some of her fragrances. The "Osmo" fragrances form a connection with the upper skin layers and are then slowly released over a period of 24 hours. So they are literally "fragrances that get beneath your skin"!
With many years of experience, Il Profvmo is now one of the established niche brands and has gained many loyal fans who have discovered and fallen in love with extraordinary creations like "Cannabis" or "Chocolat".
