(MALIN+GOETZ) that's Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz from New York. They started their brand in 2004
Matthew had gained experience as cosmetics buyer at Barneys New York, in distribution at Kiehl's, and in the Beauty Divisions of Prada and Helmut Lang, with cosmetic products and luxury goods. All the time he had skin problems himself such as eczema, rosacea and seborrhoea and couldn't find a cosmetic brand of which he could tolerate all of the products.
Before establishing this new company, Andrew Goetz worked for 10 years as Marketing Manager for the US for Vitra, a Swiss family business known for legendary designs.
Thanks to all the contacts they had made during their professional life, they decided to launch their own brand. Matthew was in charge of the products and Andrew was responsible for the design of the products and their stores.
Their products blend the best of nature and technology. They focus on an optimal tolerability without having to compromise on quality. Thus patented active principles are used: cleansing products with vegetable amino acids do not dry out the skin. Nourishing cosmetics with fatty acid technology moisturize the skin without leaving a greasy film.
All products are also designed to be simple and practical to use, they are unisex and come in a modern design packaging.
(MALIN+GOETZ) offers cosmetic products for the face, body and hair as well as a range of scented candles and fragrances.
Not to be forgotten: The legendary dog shampoo (Pug "Mr. Greenberg" is a faithful companion of Matthew and Andrew and so to say the company mascot).
